Timbaland (nacido como Timothy Z. Mosley el 10 de marzo de 1971 en Norfolk, Virginia) es un productor estadounidense de R&B y hip hop y rapero cuyo estilo ha influido en ambos géneros. Con el rapero Magoo fue miembro del grupo de hip hop Timbaland & Magoo. Timbaland es similar a productores como Phil Spector, Brian Eno o Norman Whitfield en que han ayudado a redefinir el sonido de un género musical entero con un estilo de producción inmediatamente reconocible.
