► Biografía de U2

U2 es una banda irlandesa de música rock, aunque también ha experimentado con otros géneros musicales. Fue fundada en 1976 en Dublín, Irlanda, por iniciativa del baterista Larry Mullen Jr. Este seleccionó a los demás integrantes. Uno de ellos, el vocalista Paul Hewson (Bono), pasó a liderar el grupo. Asimismo fueron fundadores, el guitarrista, teclista y corista Dave Evans (The Edge) y el bajista Adam Clayton. Esta agrupación, que se ha mantenido por cerca de medio siglo en la escena rock, es considerada legendaria. Ha obtenido varios importantes premios de la industria discográfica.
