► Biografía de Apocalyptica

Apocalyptica es una banda finlandesa de metal sinfónico, música clásica y metal neoclásico. Se formó en 1992 en Helsinki, Finlandia. Comenzó haciendo versiones de temas de Metallica y de otras bandas de música. Siempre con el chelo como protagonista. Pronto encontró un estilo propio en el que ejecutar temas de su autoría, sin dejar de hacer versiones. Cuando se siente y se trabaja la música de manera auténtica, la creatividad no tiene límites. Tocar chelo rock para versionar a grandes exponentes de trash metal o a genios como Beethoven, son retos inconmensurables. Apocalyptica los asumió y los ha estado resolviendo exitosamente. En su performance musical pronto comenzó incorporar temas de su autoría. No podía ser de otra manera, dado el talentoso trabajo de sus integrantes.
